Accomplishments:

• Created a redis based caching system that automatically handles cache creation and invalidation where needed. This resulted in a considerable reduce in database load.
• Automated and improved model registration process for couples. This process was previously done manually.

Accomplishments:

• Created a new and improved CV generation system that was used to generate CV’s for the entire company. This considerably reduced the time needed to realtime generate a CV when users where editing it. It was also setup to be scalable for future growth.
• Improved and completely rewrote the Word Export system that was used to export CVs to Word. I took on and solved all challenges that where declared “unsolvable” for the previous developer that worked on this system.

Accomplishments:

• Technical responsible and integrated with the Dutch government their national identity system called DigiD. This was used to identify/authorize users within the product.
• Technical lead for the companies first native cloud product. This product used a microservice architecture and was deployed on Azure via Kubernetes.
• Improved the developer workflow by introducing code standards and optimizing the release process.

Accomplishments:

• Created a custom render engine that implemented a subset of HTML 4/5 and a subset of CSS 3. This was used in our products designer that could export to for example PDF. A component could be dragged in the designer editor where we enabled HTML/CSS editing being supported by the render engine.
• Created specification that was used to create a HTTP request pipeline. This specification also included a configuration that enabled us to expose it to the customer for them to configure.
